We use multiple sources of information to determine the rent for a property to include free and paid online resources as well as internal rental comps from similar homes. It’s important to have realistic expectations on rent when we start to market your property. Trying to get an additional $50 or $100 per month for rent is an invitation for inadequate tenants and ulterior motives.
Professionalism and Tenant Rapport
Respect, honesty, and professionalism – it is imperative to build rapport and develop a professional working relationship with each of our tenants. We have found when times are tough (e.g., COVID-19) this rapport and mutual respect is the difference between effective management and tenant retribution.
Eviction Protection Service
Even with sophisticated qualification criteria, and a robust screening process – sometimes evictions still happen. Boomtown understands this risk and for an additional $20 / month we’ll pay the cost of evicting a bad tenant (up to $1000.00).
